A man believed to be in his mid 40s only known as Akwasi, popularly called chocho, has been found dead in a river at Adumasa, a farming community in the Juaben Municipality in Ashanti Region.
Unconfirmed reports reaching ghanacrimereport.com, show that Chocho murdered his 38-year-old wife (Afriyie) in a heated argument that ensured between the two of them.
Chocho lost his temper, after he got infuriated by his wife and took her life at the cocoa farm.
According to eyewitness account, both the deceased (Afriyie) and Chocho struggled in the process in their cocoa farm before her untimely death.
Chocho after murdering his wife took to his heels but was later found dead in River Anum at Adumasa. The deceased couple left behind six children.
Remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Juaben morgue pending autopsy.
As of press time, Police confirm the incident and were investigating the matter.
