Ace Ankomah Enforces GH¢2.95 million Judgment Against Kevin Taylor

Private legal practitioner Ace Anan Ankomah is taking steps to enforce a GH¢2.95 million damages judgment he won against social media commentator Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor in a defamation suit. The Accra High Court ordered Taylor and his media company, Loud Silence Media, to pay the damages in February 2020 for defaming Ankomah in a video published on Taylor’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Details of the Judgment Enforcement
– Judgment Background: The court awarded Ace Ankomah General Damages of GH¢2 million, Aggravated Damages of GH¢500,000, and Exemplary Damages of GH¢400,000.
– Service of Judgment: Following a court order for substituted service on August 2, 2025, Ankomah served Kevin Taylor with the judgment via a half-page graphic publication in the Daily Graphic Newspaper.
– Court Orders: The Accra High Court also issued a perpetual injunction restraining Taylor from publishing further defamatory material about Ankomah and ordered Taylor to publish an apology and remove the offending material.
This development marks a significant step in Ankomah’s pursuit of enforcing the judgment against Taylor, who had been out of the jurisdiction until recently.
