#Ayawaso West Wuogon Election Violence: ASP Azugu Cooperates with National Intelligence Bureau

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that ASP Samuel Kojo Azugu, a commander of the National Security SWAT team implicated in the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence, is cooperating with the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to identify and prosecute those involved.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence occurred on January 31, 2019, resulting in 18 people being injured. The incident sparked widespread condemnation, with many calling for justice and accountability .
