#Police Rescue Tortured Victim in Viral Video, Arrest Two Suspects

The Ghana Police Service has taken swift action in response to a disturbing viral video showing a 12-year-old boy being tortured by two adults. The incident occurred in the New Ankasa community near Elubo in the Western Region, where the victim was subjected to severe beatings for allegedly stealing 200 cedis.
According to Superintendent of Police Olivia E.T. Adiku, Head of the Public Affairs Unit, Western Region, the police in Half Assini Division successfully rescued the victim and arrested the two suspects identified as Issah Morro, 58, and Suleman Abdul Rashid, 27. The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
The victim has received medical attention and has been reunited with his father. The police command has assured the public of their commitment to safety and urged citizens to report any suspicious or harmful behavior promptly to the nearest police station.
