The Sunyani District Court B has remanded three suspects arrested in connection with various offenses related to a chieftaincy dispute in Sampa, located in the Jaman North Municipality of Ghana’s Bono Region.
The suspects, identified as Alhassan Issah (25), Luis Kwame Antwi (24), and Yussif Ahmed, were apprehended by the Bono Regional Police Command on November 4, 2025, following an intelligence-led undercover operation in different locations within Sampa.
They were arraigned before the court on November 5, 2025, on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, causing harm, causing damage, assault, and stealing. Presiding Judge H/W Mr. Eric Danning Esq. remanded the suspects into police custody, with a court reappearance scheduled for November 10, 2025.
