In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor of the university highlighted President Atta Mills’ contributions to the development of the institution and the healthcare sector in Ghana.
The renaming is seen as a fitting tribute to President Atta Mills’ legacy and commitment to improving healthcare in Ghana. The university, which was established in 2011, has since become a leading institution in the field of health and allied sciences, producing highly skilled professionals who are making a positive impact in the healthcare sector.
