#Man Arrested for Impersonating Doctor, Defrauding People

The Ghana Police have apprehended a man, identified as Fredrick Papa Kow-Assifuah, for allegedly impersonating a medical doctor and defrauding individuals by promising fake international travel opportunities.
According to reports, Kow-Assifuah was caught at Kasoa Crispo City wearing a lab coat and stethoscope, moments before he was to meet another victim he had contacted online.
During the arrest, the police recovered various medical items, a passport, and GH¢8,500 in cash from him. Kow-Assifuah reportedly confessed to posing as a doctor at United Brain Hospital in Accra and using his fake identity to trick women into online relationships, convincing them to send him money.
The suspect is currently in custody and will face prosecution. The police have advised the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
