Two Students of the Mankranso Senior High School in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region are in critical condition, responding to treatment at the Mankranso Government Hospital.
This was after a near pandemonium broke out between some current students of the school and some old students of the same school.
The old students in early hours of Tuesday tried to mete out punishment on some of the current students in what they call, “seniority at a distance”, but the students, mainly SHS 1 students refused, developing into confrontation.
In the process of the confrontation, the old students used sticks and other unknown weapons to attack the SHS 1 students, injuring two of the SHS1 students who were later rushed to the hospital.
The news came to school authorities as surprise and the authorities are collaborating with the police to investigate the matter.
So far, now arrest has been made.
The Mankranso District Police Commander, Superintendent Richard Boahen confirmed this to Ghanacrimereport.com and said police have begun investigations into the matter.
