Bechem Police have arrested Yaw Duodu, 68, a suspected gold fraudster, operating in Bechem and its adjoining towns.
The police are yet to give details to the press as investigations are ongoing.
Checks made by our reporter, Owusu Ansah indicate that Duodu is part of a syndicate defrauding people as gold dealers at different locations at the Bechem area for the past four years.
His accomplices who also are suspected to be defrauding people in gold dealing are said to be operating in the Ashanti, Bono and Ahafo Regions on daily basis.
The police are mounting search for these accomplices as part of investigations on the matter.
