Business executive remanded over spouse’s death

Madina District Court presided over by Maame Efua Tordimah has remanded a Business tycoon, Prince Charles Dedjoe for allegedly murdering his 43 year spouse Lilian Dedjoe.

Dedjoe, allegedly assaulted his 43-year-old spouse with his slippers following a misunderstanding.

The Court did not take Dedjoe’s plea and has charged him with a provisional murder.

The court in addition turned down a bail application put in by Dedjo’s lead counsel, Captain Retired Nkrabeah Effah Dartey.

The District Court held that the lower court was not the right forum to apply for or entertain bail and asked the defence counsel to do so at the High Court.

It further directed the Police to assist Dedjo to undergo some medical tests.

Dedjoe is expected to reappear on March 22.
