A lady believed to be in her mid 20s who is identified as Abenaa Afriyie popularly called Mother, has been found dead on roadside at Deda , a farming community in the Atwima Kwanwoma in Ashanti Region.
Unconfirmed reports reaching ghanacrimereport.com, show that mother was murdered by some unknown assailants and left her remains on the roadside.
According to eyewitness account, residents who chanced on the remains of Mother saw that one of her breasts had been cut off and taken away from her body.
Other parts of her body were missing including three of her right fingers and two of her left fingers.
Remains of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) pending autopsy.
As of press time, no arrest had been made and the Committee Chairman of the Atwima Deda Electoral Electoral Area, Osei Kojo confirmed the incident and said official complaint has been lodged at the police for investigations.
He urged Ghana police service to beef up their night patrols in the area in order avert such series of murder incidents.
