A Traditional Priest known as Katakyie Sarkodie is reported dead after his alleged girlfriend hit him in head during a scuffle at Mpasaso near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South West.
He suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the Mankranso Government Hospital.
He later died early hours of today while he remained in critical condition.
His body has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
Police are investigating the incident according to checks by ghanacrimereport.com
The Assembly Member for the Mpasaaso Electoral Area, Charles Asare said the supposed girlfriend only known as Sala visited the deceased at his vicinity at Mpasaso.
During the visit Sala had some misunderstanding with the deceased and engaged in a scuffle with him.
In the process, she managed to hit Sarkodie in the head leading to his injuries.
Sala has since taken to his heels.
